STAMFORD, Conn., April 18, 2005 – The legendary Hulk Hogan returns to action for one more match at World Wrestling Entertainment®’s RAW branded Pay-Per-View, Backlash, on May 1, 2005, in Manchester, N.H.

Hogan, arguably the most famous Superstar ever, will appear on Monday Night RAW before a sold out crowd at New York City’s Madison Square Garden tonight, April 18, to accept the invitation of “The Heartbreak Kid,” Shawn Michaels™, to be his tag team partner.  This sets up, for the first-time ever, a dream pairing of these two celebrated Superstars as they face WWE Superstars Mohammed Hassan™ and Daivari™ at Backlash. 

Batista, fresh off winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Triple H at WrestleMania® 21, makes his first Pay-Per-View title defense at Backlash.  It will be Triple H versus Batista again as Triple H, the 10-time world champion, will be driven to recapture the title he lost at WrestleMania.
