WWE currently markets and sells titles on DVD. Like our WWE television programs, these video productions contain TV appropriate ratings to assist parents in making decisions about whether or not a video is appropriate for their child. Please refer to our section on Television Program Ratings for more information on the ratings system used on both television programs and videos.
Action Figures
WWE action figures are distributed by JAKKS Pacific, who produces and distributes the action figures with a license granted by WWE Entertainment, Inc.

WWE has gone to great lengths with its supplier to make sure its toys are properly labeled. The action figures carry more specific labeling (as seen above) that began to appear on packaging in 2001. These labeling features include a product content label making clear for what age these toys are recommended.
WWE recommends that parents read the language on WWE action figures or action figure accessories packaging before making the decision to purchase these items for their children. Each box contains descriptions that will help parents make the decisions they feel are right for their children.
Video Games
WWE video games are produced by THQ/JAKKS Pacific, who develops, produces and distributes the games with a license granted by WWE Entertainment, Inc.
All WWE video games are rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), an independent board that has developed a standardized rating system for interactive software products. The ESRB ratings are designed to give consumers information about the content of an interactive video or computer entertainment title and for which ages it's appropriate. Most WWE video games are rated with a "T", indicating that the content has been rated appropriate for ages 13 and older.
Parents can find the ESRB rating symbol on the front of the video game package. The ESRB code is as follows:
EC - Early Childhood
K-A - Kids to Adult
E - Everyone
T - Teen
M - Mature
AO - Adults Only
RP - Rating Pending
In addition to the rating, parents should check for important content information (also called "descriptors") in the black-and-white box on the back of the package. These content descriptors give more details about the product as it relates to violence, sexual themes, language, and other areas that may be of interest to some parents.
Please be advised that the ESRB rating icons, "EC", "K-A", "E", "T", "M", "AO" and "RP" are copyrighted works and certification marks owned by the ISDA and the ESRB and may only be used with their permission and authority. Magazines
WWE Magazine focuses on the lifestyles of WWE Superstars and Divas, their activities outside the ring, and what they like in movies, music, gadgets, fashion and other items of interest to young men in their twenties. We recommend that parents take a look at the magazine to decide whether they are appropriate for their children as some of the content -- pictures and language -- could be regarded as inappropriate for young teens and under.
